Why connect themThe Email Validation API in Trello.
Trello makes project management visual and intuitive. Integrating APIs with Trello enables automated card creation, intelligent task enrichment, and data-driven boards. Keep your projects updated with real-time external data.
What you can buildWorkflows worth wiring.
Automatically create cards for new support tickets with enriched customer data
Update card descriptions with the latest status from external systems
Create task checklists based on data validation results
Move cards automatically when external conditions change
TemplatesReady-made ideas.
New card created Validate email in description → add labelValidate contacts on new cards
When a Trello card is created with an email in the description, validate it and apply a green (valid) or red (invalid) label automatically.
Card moved to list Validate email → add comment if invalidCheck emails before moving to outreach list
When a card is moved to your outreach list, validate the contact email first. Add a comment warning if the email fails validation or has a typo.
SetupConnect it in a few steps.
Set up with Zapier
- 1
Set the trigger. Create a Zap with Trello as the trigger app and "New card" as the event. Connect your account.
- 2
Add the API action. Add APIVerve as the action, select the Email Validation API, and map your trigger data to the request.
- 3
Send it back. Add a second Trello action for "Create card" and map the returned fields (like creationDate) into it.
- 4
Test & turn on. Test the Zap with real data to confirm the mapping, then turn it on.
Set up with Make
- 1
Add the trigger. Create a scenario and add a Trello module set to "New card". Authenticate your account.
- 2
Call the API. Add an HTTP module pointing at api.apiverve.com/v1/emailvalidator with your x-api-key header. Pass the trigger's data as the input.
- 3
Parse & map. Add a JSON module to read the response, then a Trello module for "Create card". Map fields like data.creationDate into place.
- 4
Activate. Run once to confirm the mapping, then switch the scenario on and set its schedule.
Set up with n8n
- 1
Add the trigger node. Start a workflow with a Trello trigger node for "New card" and connect your credentials.
- 2
Add an HTTP Request node. Point it at api.apiverve.com/v1/emailvalidator using Header Auth (x-api-key). Feed in the trigger data.
- 3
Map with expressions. Add a Trello node for "Create card" and reference the response with expressions such as {{ $json.data.creationDate }}.
- 4
Execute & activate. Execute manually to verify, then activate the workflow for production.
